The Sailor of the Year is awarded a certificate of recognition and appreciation, Life Membership in the USS BOSTON Shipmates organization, and free hotel accommodations plus meals and all group tours at the annual USS BOSTON reunion for himself and his wife.

Each Sailor of the Quarter is awarded a U.S. Savings Bond and a certificate of recognition and appreciation.
